I think that it is safe to say that for most runners one of the most exciting parts of a race is the unveiling of the free t-shirt. The "free-ness" of the shirt is a topic for another blog. The t-shirt that I got last week has to be near the top of the worst free t-shirts of all time. The logo was created by a professional graphics company (which will go unnamed) whose motto is "We Get it Right. Guaranteed." Sorry to say but you weren't even close. I would like to go back in time when the designer walked in to the bosses office with his/her final draft. Both of them stare at the logo for a minute or two and then the boss says, "This is just what I think those runners are looking for. Great job!"

Wow. Those are some cute tri-ants.
Why is it so hard for people to design race t-shirts? All they have to do is keep it simple and classy! If we ever do a family race, Mel totally has to design the shirts!
